My Acne-Prone Skincare Routine

For most people, having acne might be challenging. It often affects self-esteem, causes anxiety, and even feels like an embarrassment. It is, however, nothing to be ashamed of, and does not make one less attractive. I have had acne for 4 years now, and I am trying to accept it. Alongside doing health checkups, eating healthy, and staying hydrated, realizing that acne is natural and out of control is a significant way of dealing with it.

We are all beautiful, amazing, and strong in our own way. It is important to form healthy relationships with yourself and take care of your body and soul with love. For me, skincare is a type of regular self-care that contributes to my self-love. In this blog, I want to share the skincare products that helped me significantly improve the condition of my skin.

In the morning:

1. Lagom Cellup Micro Foam Cleanser

I love this cleanser because when mixed with water it forms many bubbles that deeply and gently cleanse the skin without leaving a feeling of tightness of the skin. The product has light citrus and herbal properties. Ideal for all types of skin.

2. Dr. Ceuracle Cica Regen 92 Toner

I use this toner with 92% Centella Asiatica to quickly relieve irritation and soothe sensitive skin.

3. J'sDerma Acnetrix Control AC Serum

This serum contains niacinamide, zinc, and a plant complex that has a calming effect. It works to eliminate irritation, lighten traces of post-acne and shrink the sizes of pores thanks to the key ingredient niacinamide.

4. Purito Centella Unscented Recovery Cream

This cream helps me to instantly soothe irritated skin, strengthen the protective barrier, and moisturize.

5. Dr.Ceuracle Cica Regen Vegan Sun Gel SPF50+ PA++++

I always apply sunscreen before leaving a house. This one is my favourite, because it lies on the skin with a barely noticeable transparent layer, protects against UV rays such as UVA and UVB, and protects against adverse environmental factors, especially dust.

In the evening:

1. Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Revitalizing

I do double cleansing in the evenings because it can aid in the removal of blocking, acne-causing pollutants. This product is designed to effectively remove even waterproof makeup and work well with all tonal creams. Easy to use, quickly turns into a silky oil when applied to the skin. Suitable for problematic and oily skin.

2. Lagom Cellup Micro Foam Cleanser

3. Cosrx One Step Original Clear Pad

I use these pads after washing my face twice a week to combat acne, control sebum, and moisturize the skin. It contains all-natural components and BHA. I noticed how it calms the skin; it feels soft and smooth in the morning. After I apply pads to the skin, I wait 20 minutes and then finish the routine with the moisturizer cream.

4. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

I apply this peeling solution after cleansing. On dry skin, a thin layer should do and keep it on between 7-10 minutes. It should be washed off with water. The recommended use is no more than 2 times a week. I love this product for its ability to even out the tone, gently exfoliate dead skin cells, and remove excess sebum and black dots.

5. Dr Ceuracle Cica Regen 92 Toner

After cleansing or peeling, I continue to use the same products as in the morning.
