My 10-Minute Natural Makeup Routine

Today I will talk about my morning skincare routine and my makeup routine. A while ago I would always take ages to do my makeup and use a lot of products that weren't really needed. I will list all the products and where to purchase them below.

When I wake up, the first thing I do is wash my face. I use a CeraVe Smoothing cleanser with Salicylic Acid. It is really important to wash your face in the mornings to wash off all the skincare from the night before as well as all the oils that accumulated throughout the night and to start off with a fresh base.

Then my next step is moisturiser and SPF, so I use the product that is 2 in 1 which is CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 25. Suncream is really important since it protects your skin from harmful UV rays and helps you keep youthful skin for longer.

Then, let's finally start with makeup. My first step is always to conceal! I use a Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 5 Fair for my blemishes and shade 2 Porcelain for under my eyes when I see I haven't gotten enough sleep! I use a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Makeup Sponge to blend out my concealer to make it look more natural.

In my everyday makeup, I don't use foundation because I think just using concealer on spots where you need it looks more natural and you don't need to look like a mess at the end of the day. I have used this concealer for multiple years now just because it is so affordable, only £4.19!! Afterwards, to keep my skin from getting oily throughout the day, I use Rimmer London Loose Powder in the shade Translucent 1 underneath my eyes with the same damp sponge I have used for my concealer.

Now my next step is eyebrows. Before I loved dark and thick eyebrows and now when I do my makeup every day I try to make them look more natural. That's why I use NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil in the shade Ash Brown and just try to fill in the sparse areas of the eyebrow and make them look very natural. I love this eyebrow pencil because the tip is so small so it is easy to use it and also it has an eyebrow brush at the other end. To set my eyebrows in place, I use NYX professional Control Freak Eye Brow Gel in the shade Clear and just use it to brush my eyebrows up to make them look fuller. Lastly, I put e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara just to finish off my eyes. I love this mascara because it is so cheap, but does the job so well! Doesn't clump up the lashes and looks very natural.

Then I finally finish off with the rest of my face, so a bronzer, blush and highlight. I use Hoola Matte Bronzer in the shade Hoola, Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in the shade Sparkling Bellini and e.l.f Baked Highlighter in the shade Moonlight Pearl.

I use different brushes to apply the products and I start off with the bronzer where I apply it on the cheeks and my forehead to make it smaller, then apply blush on the apples of my cheeks and lastly use highlight on the high points of my face like cheekbones and tip of my nose. Then I just finish up my look with some lip balm and I am ready to go!
