The Jwajem is a typically Tunisian delight. Fresh and greedy dessert, it can be declined almost infinitely, according to the fruits of the season and your creativity!
Ingredients for 4 glasses of Jwajem:
6 natural or flavored yogurts
300 grams of seasonal fruit cut into small cubes
150 grams of crushed dried fruit
Fruit syrup
Honey
Optional: crushed cookies or crumble, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce!
Provide 4 tall glasses or ice cream bowls
Preparation:
Pour the syrup on the inside of the glass.
Place a first layer of yogurt on the bottom of the glass.
Place a small layer of fruit, then another layer of yogurt.
Place another layer of fruit, then a layer of dried fruit.
Repeat and finish with a drizzle of honey.
If you have a sweet tooth, add a cap of whipped cream or chocolate and finish with another layer of dried fruit!
The visual effect is pretty and the result is delicious!
